You and I as followers of Christ will be generous people to the extent we are transformed by and live in light of what God has done for us in the radical generosity of Christ crucified. We should be so blown away by God’s radical love for us and the forgiveness that comes from the crucifixion that we give out of hearts totally captivated by God and what He’s done for us. Generosity isn’t a money thing; it is a discipleship and Kingdom thing. We don’t give to people or to a church; we give to God. It is an act of worship.
America is a great nation. A nation made great by the hand of God and the brave men and women who have defended us. This Veterans Day, take a moment and honor the real American heroes!
