Children’s Ministries today are striving to engage parents in the spiritual development of their children. This short video uses kicking a field goal to demonstrate how the church and parents need to work together as a team in order to pass faith onto the next generation. It is when we coordinate our efforts and combine our influence that we see our children’s faith soar. Historically, the church has run various “plays” to try and instill faith in children. The “Parents Alone” play, the “Church Alone” play, and even the “Parents and Church” play. But it is not until we run the “Parents and Church Working as a Team” play do we get results worth celebrating. There is also a shorter version that omits the end zone celebration.
