Journey To The Nativity
Description
Filmed in the Rocky Mountains, this Christmas series will cause your congregation to pause and consider their lives as it relates to the story of Jesus’ birth. In Wait, the long period between prophecies about the Savior’s birth and His eventual arrival reminds us of the lengthy, sometimes silent, times we wait on God. In 90 Miles, the trek and questions Joseph and Mary faced enroute to Bethlehem shows us that we can take comfort in the fact that no matter how long the journey, the road leads to Jesus. In The Star, we are reminded of the way God used a flawed family tree to bring His perfect Son into the world and how He continues to use flawed people to fit into His perfect plans. Angels and Shepherds points out the unique combination of mighty and lowly that God created when he used angels and shepherds to proclaim Christ’s birth and how Jesus’ arrival made a way for the lowliest of us to be in communion with the mighty God. Finally, in Silent Night, we remember how a silent night and a humble birth led to joyous strains of worship in the face of a new King.
