Meredith Andrews: Worship
Description
Devotional 1: The expression of our worship may vary from church to church, but the God we’re worshipping is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Meredith Andrews expands on this concept in session 1 and shares 4 defining characteristics of worship that we can all get behind, regardless of our worship styles and preferences.
Devotional 2: Honor and prestige do come with serving on a worship team, so how do we accept the privilege without letting all that attention go to our heads? Meredith delves into this in session 2 by helping us see the call to lead people in worship as beautiful and sacred.
Devotional 3: While our methods of worship might be modern, the crux of worship is ancient. Meredith takes us back to the Old Testament for a glimpse at the Levites and their expression of praise. She outlines 3 responsibilities the Levites received and how those responsibilities can shape our worship today.
Devotional 4: We serve an audience of one, and we join with the heavenly realms to do so. Our praises are amplified by an angelic chorus, making worship about so much more than just us and our church body. Meredith calls us to exalt the name of Jesus with awe and wonder in this last session.
