Description: Why are Mothers so important and why should we celebrate them? To truly appreciate and value them, we must look beyond the day-to-day to something deeper. WHY do we need mothers? What spiritual void do they fill? How are they Christ to each of us? God did not simply provide us with caretakers. This video will help your congregation discover, define, honor and fully celebrate the eternal truths behind why God gave us Mothers.

Indeed, there are some women who, in God's sovereignty, are unable to conceive; however, this should not prevent us from honoring those who in fact are mothers whether biologically or through adoption. We could just as easily choose not to honor graduates because there are those who never graduated or choose not to honor veterans because there are those who were not able to serve. I just don't think it's possible to cover every base in these instances. NICE VIDEO

Robert - a "boo boo" is a cutesy name for a small wound on a child. When a child hurts themselves in a non-serious way (bumping a head on the wall, scraping a knee, etc) - it's often either called a "boo boo" or an "owie" and a mother will "kiss it to make it better". Usually works to help children deal with the pain, thinking the kiss makes it better. ;)

I like what Erin says....now please help me! What is a Boo Boo? We don't use that word in Australia, so maybe you need to investigate what the equivalent is here? Otherwise I'd like to use it for our Mother's Day (and thanks for not calling her Mom - we say Mum). God Bless ROBERT. Essendon Baptist, Victoria, Australia

This is beautiful. I always struggle a bit with honoring mothers because I have empathy for those women who wanted to be mothers but never were. There was a nod here to adoptive mothers, but what about Sunday school teachers or best friends who act in a "mothering" way for our kids? That addition would have made this video even more complete for me. It sounds picky, but I think it's important to know your congregation. Thanks for the good work!
