Song Lyrics:
On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and best
for a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.
O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
has a wondrous attraction for me;
for the dear Lamb of God left his glory above
to bear it to dark Calvary.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.
In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
a wondrous beauty I see,
for 'twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
to pardon and sanctify me.
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.

I agree with Cheryl Stewart.... not only for this track, but for several others. Too often, the tracks from this site don't show the lyrics until the instant they are to be sung, or even slightly after they are to be sung. That discourages participation for those that don't have the song (and track) memorized - which would be most people.

I think this is good.

I like your idea for this product, but the words need to change quicker. For a congregation to sing freely, they need to see the lyrics at least 2 beats before they're going to sing them.
