I can see the point of some of the people who think it needs more diversity, BUT, close your eyes and preview this again. It transcends all ethnicities. You know, try as I might, I can't make Jesus into my own image, nor should I. It was His message, not His looks. If someone says they can't find themselves in a video because of what they see, then just play the audio and put your own pics up. No video can satisfy everyone - let's not miss the message...

I have used many floodgate videos in the past - they are as well made and scripted as this one. However, I have had to stop using them in worship. It reached a point where people of different ethnicity assumed we were making a conscious decisions to exclude them in our church representation. This video would cause the same hurt feelings and mistrust, therefore we can't consider it.
Could someone at floodgate PLEASE get a clue about this?

Beautiful. I have several men in my church that grew up without dads, and a few single elderly men that never had children, and I'm glad you have made a video that addresses them as well. I understand what some are saying about ethnic diversity, but honestly, the message is universal. Well done.

I echo the comments of many. I know there are people in my church who have a missing father or similar, and this is what I was looking for. HOWEVER, my congregation is mostly Japanese and the comments on ethnic diversity are so true. I am going to have to introduce it with a disclaimer, though these people don't look like you, the sentiments are real.
