So....we are just going to teach modalism to the church. You are better off using St. Patrick's Bad Analogies by Lutheran Satire

Any video piece especially on a topic like this one requires a well-done set up that allows the piece to provide a helpful perspective and analogy without implying that it's perfect. I think it works if used in the right context to help us pursue one of the deeper mysteries of God.

Brian, I'm with Brett on this one. H20 is an example of the ancient heresy of modalism, just as Brett said, because H20 *appears* in three forms while retaining the same chemical identity of H20. God does not merely appear to or interact with us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; God *is* one God in three persons - so beyond our understanding that almost every explanation is a mistake, including our favorites.

Hey Brett, I don't get that at all...I have no problem with this analogy at all...Water is still prevalent in steam and in ice...Water is water, steam still water, but heated and when it falls it turns back to water and ice is still water, but frozen and when it defrosts it's still water...The Source of all the substances is Water and The Source of the Trinity is still God!
