Part 1 is a recap of Good Friday and is great standalone video for Good Friday services. It is also great as an intro to any Easter service. It begins with a reminder of Romans 5:19, telling us how sin came through one man (Adam) and righteousness then came through one man’s (Jesus) obedience. From there it follows the progression from the night of Jesus betrayal through his death on the cross.
Part 2 provides the joyous conclusion to Good Fridays sorrow, reminding us that the first Garden was only the beginning and that Jesus rose from the grave in a second Garden, defeating death forever.
Together these two parts create a powerful Easter experience. The two parts can be shown in a variety of ways. They can be shown together, with no pause between them. The Good Friday video can be shown at a Good Friday service and then again on Sunday along with the Easter portion, or the Good Friday video could open the Easter service and then Part 2 can be shown at the end to tie the whole Easter story together.
