Another great video. I would be ashamed to have someone like MIchael meet the people we have coming to our church. Narrow minded people like him are the reason we need humorous spots like these.

There are many views on this, but tell me, who doesn't listen to secular music. And what a great message to new Christians: You know God doesn't want to take the Fun out of your life, He wants to put some in. With U2 artists being Christian, this video could easily lead into a U2 videoclip, to illustrate the types of Christian artists out there, for new Christians to explore as an alternative to the less favourably groups out there. This clip is an ideal sermon opener to discuss the topic.

I just loved this little piece! Creative, funny, relevant (so often we Christians are about a decade behind culture).
I would have chosen something way "riskier" than U2 for the Christ follower option. What about Trent Reznor or Mettalica?

So it's saying that Christians don't have to stay blindly committed to 'Christian' merchandising. A good point. But again, the mocking tone it takes is hardly constructive and fellowship building. If anything, it would offend the very people it is trying to challenge.

I would be ashamed to show this video in my church! Sure, you don't have to listen to Christian music to be a Christian. But, why would you even hint to your church that it is OK to "listen to whatever you want?" This generation takes what people say and carries it to the extreme. Remember, not everyone sitting in your church IS a Christian. They need to see a "peculiar" people, not just the same-o same-o.
