Description: It is clear from the four gospels that wherever Jesus went, people were amazed. Whether they were rich or poor, young or old, sick or well, friends or enemies — people were amazed at Jesus. This short video uses dramatic scenes from the award-winning film, “Jesus of Nazareth” and is accompanied by “Your Grace Still Amazes Me”, a praise song by Philips, Craig and Dean. As an interesting footnote, in the Bible (NIV) the word amazed is mentioned thirty-nine times, always referring to how people were amazed at Jesus. What is not commonly known is that there was one occasion where Jesus was also amazed. In Mark 6, Jesus returns to his hometown only to discover that many were opposed to him. In this context Jesus too is amazed — amazed at their lack of faith. The choice is ours — we will either be amazed by Him, or He will be amazed by us.

Absolutely beautiful! I am moved to tears every time I view it. I love the movie "Jesus of Nazareth", and whoever created the clips to accompany this music did a fantastic job! I have already passed it on to one of my friends and plan to do more of that. What a witness for Jesus Christ. Bless you for helping others connect with the Lord.

It is so painful to see that a blue eyed exceptionally pale pink Jesus does not offend the historical reality. It drains the heart and soul of the two third as much as being called the"Third World" by the third.

Beautiful! I have used this two different ways - as a prelude to communion and by lowering the volume it can be used while singing the song with a CD sound trax. Well done! Dr. Bob

Great setup for communion. Really works nicely followed by the chorus and bridge of Amazed, by Jared Anderson, as Mike Lovelady pointed out. I would add: be sure to transpose Amazed to the key of C so the transition can be seemless. Very effective way to take the congregation from being "viewers" of the video to participators in worship.
