Just a note about the song itself. "The Wonderful Cross" is by Chris Tomlin, but this version is a collaboration with Matt Redman, who sings the primary vocals throughout the song. For me the words on the screen detract from the wonderful words of Chris' song. This is an insider's view, telling the world how they are getting the cross wrong, rather than simply letting the winsomeness of Jesus and the wonder of the message of the cross speak to those who haven't come to know--yet.

Fantastic video and song mix. GREAT JOB!! I Plan to use this one at some point. Amazing how we will let one little word take us away from the focus of the cross...no wonder the church is losing ground year after year. The enemy has us focusing on such trivialities. The wonderful message of the cross takes a back burner to words like mankind.... The Apostle Paul told us to not strive about words to no profit 2Tim2:24.

This video blew me away. The message of the cross is what it's all about. This is what we need to be proclaiming folks. The message is unifying and inclusive to all "mankind." It's what we need today! Keep up the good work. David Franklin Northside Fellowship Church of the Nazarene

The irony is that Scripture doesn't use "man"kind. It uses antropos, which means humanity. Andros is the word for man...Dang, the Methodists are using Scripture again...

I agree with Jada. Great video and this is why the United Methodist Church is dying - too many are so hung up on language and other issues that irrelevant to most people and that's why people are flocking to non-denominational churches where people don't get hung up on that junk.
