Wow. Don't mean to be harsh, but this "sanitized" version has really stripped the power out of the original. As I recall, this amazing African-American preacher was asked to give the opening prayer at a prayer breakfast and he kinda just "went off" EXTEMPORANEOUSLY with the alliterations. And as he went, the audience was hooting and hollering and cheering him on. How many of us could do that "off the cuff"? It is not always WHAT is said, but the CONTEXT! The original is so inspiring. Nice try.

Disappointing that they left off the end of Rev. Lockridge's words! "For thine is the KINGDOM, and the POWER, and the GLORY, for EVER, and EVER, and EVER, and EVER, and EVER, and EVER...huh! how long is THAT?!?!?... and Ever, and Ever - and at the end of AAALLLL the Forever's...AMEN!!!!! AAAAAAAAA-MENNNNNN!!!!!!! Too bad. It's a stronger ending, I think.

I agree with the previous comment...in general...the next evolution for producers of media such as this, is to make it more adaptable to various size congregations, colors, uses, with music, without, with voice-overs, without, etc. I realize that most are simply selling what they produce foe their own church use, and we get to enjoy what they do for our own...however, it would be nice to have some flexibility in application and use.

I love this. The updated video is great. My only request is... I'd love to have a version without the music. That way our band could start playing under the vocal, build throughout, and segue into a high-energy praise song as the video ends. That could be an awesome way to start a service or a praise and worship night.
