cool idea, but honestly (and I'm no actor, so I hesitate to say this), the comedic possibilities fell short. He didn't come off like a stereotypical "the End is NEAR!" driven, manic type. Better acting, and the "too long" concerns noted above would be a non issue. For, with better acting, the 'gags' could have kept flowing to the point where you the audience would never quite know what this guy will do next to get his message out. Could have been funny, but it fell short.

I agree ... start with the music louder and the video quieter and reverse it over the course of the countdown. This way you can choose music that best suits your congregation.

I don't think it's too long becuause a countdown less than 5 minutes doesn't really fulfill its intended purpose. However some music in the background would have been nice. At our church we just played music behind the video and nobody knew the difference.
