10 Worship Songs for Baby and Child Dedication Services
Lynette KittleShare
Baby dedication services are a big step for many parents and even difficult for some to give their child to the Lord. Because it is such a monumental decision by the parents, the music played and sung during the service needs to be songs that help parents embrace and remember the very special day and moment they presented their precious child to the Lord.
As 1 Samuel 1:28 describes Hannah’s prayer of dedication, “'So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.’ And he worshiped the Lord there.”
At such a momentous occasion in the life of parents, we want to encourage, uplift, and celebrate a baby or child’s dedication to the Lord with them and their families by choosing songs that recognize their hearts and inspire them to teach their child about Jesus and the Salvation He freely offers. The following are ten worship songs for a baby or child dedication service.
