The song is a fun, catchy, Christmas feel song that is great for kids to sing that share the sacred truth that Jesus is born, the Savior of the world.

The comments are well taken. In a culture where the schools are taking Christmas out of the traditional venue to teach who Jesus is and merchandisers are creating bad will mass competitive shopping days in Advent that teach greed and meism this piece is inapproriate for church congregation use. The mystery of the birth of a savior is missing. No stars.

The song did not state that Mary and Joseph made a baby. It only said that they had a baby. This is a big difference. They had the opportunity to love, care, nurture, raise, and enjoy a baby. Never miss an opportunity to tell the story of Jesus. Norine Bernheisel

I understand the concern that Phyllis & Andrea have, but I also like the fact that this song acknowledges that Joseph took on a fathering role/responsibility to Jesus. We are going to purchase and sing this song, and use it as a teaching opportunity to remind kids that even though Joseph is in the picture, Jesus is God's only Son! I agree with Phyllis! I was really enjoying the song and thinking I would use it until that very line came up which distorts such an important truth! What a shame ... please change it!
