Perfect song to jam out to with the kids and get them excited about the Christmas season. We sing songs of our savior being born and He is the reason for the season but we also should have a great rockin' time celebrating.

Worship is not lyrics in a song. Our goal is not to teach kids to sing the right songs. That should be at the bottom of the list. Our goal ought to be to teach our kids to live a life that glorifies God.

I can understand the reservation with using this as a "worship" song since it doesn't feature lyrics that are distinctly spiritual. However, it's a great song to celebrate the season of Christ's birth. I've used it to open up our services and also as the first song in a worship set. I believe there is a lot of value in celebrating the joy of the season as we transition to celebrating the Person that the season celebrates.

Okay, so it is not a psalm, hymn or spiritual song that speaks the word of Christ into our lives (Colossians 3:16). Therefore, it would be unwise to use this particular video as a worship track. However, depending on the context of the church gathering and how the track is used, this video could be a helpful and effective tool in an all-age church gathering (for example, to take people from a secular view of Christmas and lead them to Jesus through the flow of the service).
