Conference Preview

Conference season is fast-approaching, and WHM will be involved in several great church media and worship conferences in the next few months. We encourage you to check them out and come say hello!

Luminous (Franklin, TN) – May 1-3
Our vision with the Luminous Project is to see a resurrection of creativity, contemplation, and action in the lives of those who attend as well as the churches and organizations we serve. The keynote sessions & workshops will provide inspiration and revelation in a creative and encouraging environment for leaders, artists, and communicators from around the globe.

Create (Ontario, Canada) – June 3-5
Create is a unique conference experience designed to inspire, encourage and practically equip the Canadian church leader, communicator and creative in the areas of arts, design, video, web and leadership.

National Worship Leader Conference (Kansas City, MO) – July 15-18
The National Worship Leader Conference is designed to take you away from the distractions, designed to pull you away from the things that often overwhelm, and place you in a house of worship with others like you. Musicians, pastors, worship team members, and multimedia artists are invited to gather together with a single objective: deepen your understanding of worship and bring it back to your community.

Echo Conference (Dallas, TX) – July 24-26
Echo Conference will feature speakers and teachers such as Donald Miller, Matt Chandler, Jon Acuff, and many more. If you’ve never been to Echo Conference before, it’s a three-day gathering of artists, geeks, and storytellers who serve the Church. Join us for inspiration, education, connection, and worship.

Story Conference (Chicago, IL) – September 18-20
The purpose of STORY is to fuel creatives in an environment where they can be inspired and learn from the leaders of creative industries. The theme for 2013 is “A Sense of Place,” which speaks not only to the power of place but also your unique contribution to the world. We’ve selected multiple venues within a few blocks of each other to create a festival format, including the House of Blues, various pubs, galleries, theaters and the historic Cathedral at Dearborn. We want you to experience the best venues Chicago has to offer.

Resurgence (Seattle, WA) – November 5-6
Come to the 2013 Resurgence Conference to learn a lifetime of lessons from ministry leaders who have seen God’s faithfulness as they responded to his call. Speakers include Rick Warren, Crawford Loritts, and Mark Driscoll.
