Social media plays a very significant role in our world today. Some would even say that if you don’t exist on social media, you don’t exist at all. I know, I know. That’s extreme, but it speaks to the importance of social media. According to a recent study, people spend an average of 151 minutes on social media daily. That’s 2.5 hours and about 10% of our 24-hour day.  These are important numbers because they tell us where our congregations spend their time. If they’re on social media, there are several posts that we need to post regularly to reach people right where they already are. So, here are 4 proven social posts your church needs to do:

Social media is a great tool to communicate what’s going on and what you want your church to know about. You can use it as a marketing tool for upcoming events and also communicate important news or details. When you have big events coming up, you’ll want to make sure it is on full blast on social media. This way, your church knows all of the details of what’s coming, but they can also invite other people to come by sharing the events. 

There are various ways to use social media to do this, so here are a few:

  1. Facebook Ads – You can purchase Facebook Ads to help target people in your community and surrounding areas. Once these ads are created, Facebook will show those ads to those who fall into your criteria.
