This is special.Stevers work always good! I agree though- "rejected by His father" doesn't reflect Father as I think He is. Sorry!Whilst in His suffering humanity Jesus cried "Why have you forsaken me?" I don't believe Father "rejected" Him. It was a terrible moment of painful, necessary separation. The song words "The Father turns his face away" describes it well - encapsulating the required horror of what had to be, whilst Father still loved the Son -altogether different to rejecting Him.

I love this video and will be using it in our Christmas Eve service to help our church family worship Christ as we consider these poignant correlations from the manger to the cross. Great thoughts to consider and reflect on at Christmas. Definitely recommend this video!

I would not hesitate to show this! There are some "details" that people might not agree with, but there's nothing that's going to keep you out of Heaven for saying / reading it. I like the fact that it provokes thought! It SHOULD make us feel uncomfortable because He was the only baby born to die!

Just a few thoughts... Nowhere in the Gospels does it say that it was a wooden cross, that is assumed through cultural knowledge. Nowhere in the Gospels does it say the entire city rejected Him. This video is stylized, this is a video i would use in my church (as an ordained Pastor). Things like there not being an innkeeper is trivial compared to the message of the video (which is fantastic!) I love this video and will be showing it in my church next year (I already had this years planned...)

This video is a fantastic telling of the Christmas Narrative. I am surprised to see that the other reviewers are being so critical of the verbiage. I find the storytelling incredibly relevant and the perspective profound. Every line in this video strikes a cord in the hearts of those who watch it and reveals a rarely illuminated connection between Jesus Birth and Crucifixion. 5 Stars Dan, fantastic work!
