We bought this in 2010 and I used it again for a sermon on Joseph and stopped at the unfriending part. Everyone laughed, but they could relate to the courage it took Joseph to listen to God's direction for his life and be obedient no matter the cost. He was not only a righteous man, but a faithful one. This is a GREAT video, really well done. Even those who don't really use FB, get it.

We used this at our school Christmas Service a few days ago with 700 students (12-18 yrs old) and it went down really well across ther board- while they laughed most of the way through it it was clearly in delight at the idea of Mary and Joseph using facebook and Joseph being 'unfriended' got the most attention...everyone was talking about it afterwards. Thanks great stuff - any chance of doing more of these movies with european spelling option?

Love it! It bridges the gap of the cultural differences that sometimes make it hard for us to comprehend the dynamics of what actually happened before and after Jesus' birth. Thanks for such a creative and relevant tool!

Good as far as it goes but few historical changes will make it better.
Un-friending Joseph is a contemporary christian viewpoint. As a Jew of his day pledges couples did not wed until conception was proven.
His name in written language of Greek was Jesus. His Jewish name and what he would have been called all his life was Yeshua Ben Yosef (or in English Joshua Ben Joseph)

Great idea, but the screens scroll or flip so fast, I doubt anyone in the congregation could read it. I know the seniors could not keep up for certain. Too bad!
