An inspiring tribute to the people who understood far better than those in the pew, the words of Jesus, "There is no greater love than when one lays down one's life for others." Our congregation was moved and touched by the message of these 3 minutes.

I might also add that in our WORSHIP services, the focus should be on honoring God. The fact that we offer some remembrance of others on special occasions is nice, but should never overshadow the true center of our worship. Again, this video finds the right balance...LOVE it. All done now. :)

Great video - love that it's a little raw, basic, and very creative, leaving the flag waving dress blues wearing slickness out of it. As the church, we walk a fine line between honoring those who've sacrificed and glorifying the act of war, or implying that in war, God is on the side of the USA. I believe God eagerly awaits the day all war ends, and mourns with all those who've suffered. His freedoms are not for Americans alone, though we recognize the cost. Floodgate found the right balance.

Gary and Flooders, All I can say is "wow." One, gripping 3-minute take that does not feel 3 minutes. Creative. Inspiring. Wonderful use of the frame. The mise-en-scène is beautiful and tells a great story just by itself.
