As an Army Chaplain, I find this video very misleading. Just today, I led prayer, praying “In Jesus’ Name,” for a battalion of over 1,000 Soldiers with additional guests, including plenty of COLs and General Officers. Not one Commander has ever banned a Chaplain from praying in Jesus’ Name. In fact, most Field Grade and General Officers encourage Chaplains to pray as they see fit.

I'm not sure we Christians in America have much of an idea what persecution is. When you look at the suffering of oppressed beleivers around the world, it's hard to put America's current shift toward secularism in the same category. In what way am I "persecuted" by the Walmart greeter saying Happy Holidays? Should we expect our society to be friendly toward a Kingdom whose values run so contrary to its own? Perhaps our culture losing its religious veneer will be the best thing for the church.

I agree that our religious freedoms are still at risk even today. My real problem with this video is that it's a bit too dark to see some of the images and the last two statements, which are important to bringing focus to this whole video, is very difficult to read.

Alan, you are right. Joe misread Chap. Reaves comment. Thank you Chap. Reaves for your service, sir. BTW Joe, you also misread and misquoted Jesus. He said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth and the LIFE (not light)." He is also the Light, but that isn't what He said there. Let's be careful out there! Handle the Word correctly.Good video, btw. Sobering and on target. Maybe a little slow for me to use in a service at my church, but good nonetheless.

In defense of Chaplain Reaves, I think Joe misread his comment. Chap. Reaves was simply commenting on the current cultural definition of "tolerance," not espousing that there are many ways to Christ.
